Job description:

We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. An excellent auto mechanic has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They are well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They must be good communicators to provide advice to customers.

 

Responsibilities:

•   Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately;

•   Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade;

•   Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity;

•   Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use;

•   Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks);

•   Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job;

•   Keep logs on work and issues;

•   Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

 

Skills:

•   Proven experience as auto mechanic;

•   Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles;

•   Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods;

•   Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift);

•   Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.;

•   Excellent physical condition;

•   High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred;

•   Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus.

As a car rental agent, your work would generally include, but not limited to:

•   Providing a high level customer service to every customer;

•   Helping with customer inquiries regarding the availability and cost of vehicles;

•   Making reservations and explaining the terms of rental agreements;

•   Opening car rental contracts;

•   Inspecting rental vehicles prior to each contract for possible damages;

•   Inspecting rental vehicles after each contract for possible damages;

•   Providing ongoing service and sales support;

•   Answering phone calls, sending shuttle to the airport terminals, answering common questing and etc.

Responsibilities:

•   Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization;

•   Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions;

•   Perform general ledger accounting duties, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliation;

•   Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees;

•   Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports;

Qualifications:

•   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred;

•   Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role;

•   Strong knowledge of financial concepts and double-entry bookkeeping;

•   Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications;

•   Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping;

•   Strong organizational and time management skills;

•   Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;

•   Experience in public accounting is a plus.
