From Brooklyn, you have to drive about 47 miles. The drive usually takes about an hour, although it can vary depending on traffic conditions. This brings you to a historic gem set amidst the lush landscapes of the Hudson Valley.

Driving from New York City to Kykuit is a scenic route. Get on Belt Pkwy/Leif Ericson Dr/Shore Pkwy. Then continue on Belt Pkwy/Leif Ericson Dr/Shore Pkwy. Take FDR Dr and I-87 N to Saw Mill Riv Pkwy N in Greenburgh. Take exit 7A from I-87 N. Finally, continue on Saw Mill Riv Pkwy N to your destination in Mount Pleasant.

Cold Spring, NY

Get on Belt Pkwy/Leif Ericson Dr/Shore Pkwy. Continue on Belt Pkwy/Leif Ericson Dr/Shore Pkwy. Take FDR Dr and Palisades Interstate Pkwy N to US-202 E/US-6 E in Highlands. Then follow NY-9D N to Main St in Cold Spring and you're there.

Kaaterskill Falls, NY

The drive will be about 145 miles and take about two and a half hours, although travel time can vary depending on road conditions, and you'll find yourself in front of the enchanting and serene scenery of Kaaterskill Falls.

Once again, get on Belt Pkwy/Leif Ericson Dr/Shore Pkwy. Then take I-278 W, I-95 N, NJ-17 N and I-87 N to NY-212 W/NY-32 N in Saugerties and take exit 20 from I-87 N. Continue on NY-32 N. Take NY-23A W to Laurel House Rd in Hunter. After that you will need to walk a little bit, check the map and you will be at your destination.

Storm King Art Center
